The rod is designed for carp and crucian carp fishing with Flat feeders. A lightweight rod with a medium-fast action is capable of performing VERY ACCURATE casts with Flat feeders 30-40-50 grams + food at a distance of up to 80 meters.
For a long time in my use there were short models of feeders from other manufacturers for fishing with Flat, but all of them were with a landing diameter of 2.2 mm. At the same time, the rings on such quivertypes were very small, which greatly complicated fishing with a shock leader, too small capacity led to a decrease in the casting range, tangling and jamming of the shock leader knot, which often led to breakage of the quivertypes on the cast. Thicker quiver tips of 3.5 mm make it possible to install large diameter rings on them for normal operation. The rod is a two-part rod, the length of the comle knee is equal to the second knee with the inserted quiver tip. The rod is able to forcefully bring out large carp up to 2-3 kg, not letting it into the snags, under the reeds in the neighboring sector.
For the balance of the tackle and comfortable work, I made a handle of normal length on this rod - 440 mm, the diameter of the handle grip is 26 mm. Ideal on this rod will be a medium-sized reel type Daiwa in the size of 3000 - 4000 by English numbering, or the size of Daiwa 5000 - 6000 in the LT concept. The rod is equipped with a reliable Fuji tvs reel holder of size 16 with a top clamping nut, which securely fixes the legs of the reel. The first ring is 20 mm in size to ensure that there is a good reach of the cord and line and that there is no beating on the cord when reeling in the tackle, as well as the next 4 rings on the form with double attachment points. The rod is equipped with a shorter length of 610 mm quiver. The 1 ounce quiver is equipped with 4 mm rings, and the 1.5 and 2 ounce quivers are equipped with 4.5 mm rings.
