Superior Feeder 12ft / 80g A slim, very light, slim rod that impresses with its qualities. Designed for fishing on small rivers with weak currents, river bays, on canals, but it is ideal for fishing on lakes and reservoirs.

A thin, very lightweight, and slim rod that impresses with its characteristics. It is intended for fishing on small, slow-flowing rivers, river bays, and canals, but its ideal application is fishing on lakes and reservoirs. The rod can work with a wide range of weights – 30-40-50-60 grams + feed at a distance of over 60 meters. It works best with medium-capacity 40 and 50-gram feeders. During testing, we repeatedly casted a 40-gram bullet-type feeder with a diameter of 30 millimeters to a distance of 85 meters with a clear hit on the clip. Just for fun, I say that we created this rod to surprise people. Those who’ve ever held this rod in their hands were astonished at HOW a rod weighing 165 grams could so easily shoot a feeder to such distances.

The rod is very soft and is capable of working with very light hooklengths of 0.08 – 0.09 mm without the use of feeder gum.

With all its power and amazing casting performance, we managed to make this rod very thin – the diameter of the blank in the butt section is only 11 millimeters. Also, thanks to the use of asymmetric prepreg pattern technology, we managed to reduce the thickness of the blank’s wall – in its thickest part it is only 0.46 millimeters, which allowed us to make the blanks highly sensitive and informative. To achieve this result, we used 4 types of prepreg grades at once. Rolling 4 asymmetric patterns on a machine is impossible, so we used a manual method of rolling onto the mandrel.

An important feature of our thin, lightweight, elegant high modulus carbon blanks is their incredible reliability. We devoted a huge amount of time to this aspect by repeatedly testing the rods outside their casting weights range, performing snappy power casts. A powerful butt section and the lower third of the second section enable the top of the blank to compress with ease. The rod effortlessly shoots the feeder accurately to the marker, and then it settles down promptly, as parasitic oscillations are minimal, which also aids in long casting and the durability of your spare quivertips.

We use the highest quality accessories on our fishing rods, particularly Fuji TVS TK reel seats, Sea Guide guides with zirconium oxide inserts, and handle materials by the Japanese company Matagi. The rod is supplied with a stylish and practical carbon tube for quivertips. Also, when ordering, you have the freedom to choose a classic or flat handle shape.
