A rod intended for catching carp and crucian on flat feeders. A lightweight rod with a moderate-fast action, capable of delivering VERY ACCURATE casts with 30-40-50 grams flat feeders + feed to distances of up to 80 meters.
For a long time in my arsenal there were short models of feeder rods from other manufacturers for fishing on flat, but they all had a quivertip base diameter of 2.2 mm. Furthermore, the guides on such quivertips were very small, which made it very difficult to fish using a shock leader, too little throughput led to a decrease in casting distance, tangling and jamming of the shock leader knot, which often resulted in breakage of the quivertip on the cast. The thicker 3.5 mm quivertips, on the other hand, can be fitted with large-diameter guides for comfortable work.
Three-piece rod with an unusual cut – in the butt section there is an additional joint, which makes it possible to achieve a blank with all the advantages of a two-piece rod. Transportation is possible both in a two-piece version and in a fully disassembled state. The rod can aggressively play a large carp up to 2-3 kg without letting it go into snags, under a platform, into the adjacent sector, or reeds.
For the balance of the tackle and comfortable work, on this rod I have made a handle of sufficient length – 440 mm, with a rear grip diameter of 26 mm. Medium-sized reels such as Daiwa 3000-4000 by English numeration (old sizing), or a Daiwa 5000-6000 LT concept would be ideal for this rod. The rod is equipped with a reliable 16-size Fuji TVS screw down reel seat that securely locks the reel foot. The butt ring is 20 mm in size for good braid and line flow and to prevent rod wobbling when winding in the braid; also, the next 4 guides on the blank have double attachment points.
The rod is supplied with shorter 610 mm quivertips. The 1 oz quivertip has 4 mm guides; while the 1.5 and 2 oz quivertips come fitted with 4.5 mm guides.
